We’re headed up by Lukasz and Sinead, who lead a fantastic team of fish filleters, drivers, buyers, and sales team. When it comes to product knowledge, our sales team is trained to a high standard, with weekly product training. You can be confident that we’re able to not only take your order, but to offer you seasonality information, advise on the daily catch, and assist you with menu planning.
Lukasz Kalinowski – Business Director
Lukasz works all hours (in between visits to the gym!) to ensure things run smoothly here at Direct Seafoods London, in order for you to get your fish how you want and when you want it!
Sinead Murphy – Business Director
Sinead has been part of the team since 2012 when she left the Emerald Isle for the Big Smoke! Her seafood knowledge on species and sourcing stemmed from living and breathing the whole operation from start to finish. Sinead has been involved in all aspects of the process, from sales, buying and operations – which undoubtedly helped to broaden her knowledge and gain a true understanding of the business, industry and the range of species we now rely on. She heads up our sales and commercials at the depot and holds weekly training sessions with the sales team to pass on her expert knowledge.
Laky Zervudachi – Director of Sustainability
We are fortunate to have our very own Director of Sustainability & Epicurean. Laky Zervudachi has almost 40 years’ experience in seafood, and has been a key member of our team since 2005. Laky works alongside customers, NGO’s, fishermen and suppliers to educate and encourage our customers on the huge range of sustainable and responsibly sourced seafood available.
At the end of the phone
Our sales team are on hand to take your orders and offer advice on seasonality, daily specials and assist with menu planning.
Our Business Development Managers are our feet on the street, always happy to visit you to help with your fishy requirements.
In the office we have the sales team. Each morning the team make their way down to the fresh room to see the days landings so they are able to advise you of what is available. They can also help with menu planning and seasonality information.
Face to face
Our team of 3 Business Development Managers are here for you – offering visits to suit you, to discuss your account, and give advice on new menu development and offer a friendly face when you need it!
Our skilled team of filleters work day and night, to ensure your order is prepared to the specification you require.
Whilst you’re mid-evening service and thinking about clearing down, our night team are beginning their day! Direct Seafoods London is alive, taking your orders, receiving the days landings and preparing your fish ready for delivery first thing in the morning.
Pedro is our night Operations Manager, overseeing all night operations. The fish has to pass the Pedro’s high standards before it is even allowed into our chiller!
